Higher education in Sweden
Unlike many countries around the world, the academic environment in Sweden is informal and highly interactive. Here, students are on first-name terms with their professors, and are free to engage in discussions and express their points of view.

Activate your student account
You can activate your student account a few days after receiving your final admission decision.

Meeting other students
In Uppsala, The International Buddy Programme can help you settle in and take you on activities. At Campus Gotland, the student union Rindi organises welcome activities and other events.

Temporary changes and extra drop-in sessions
- The final drop-in before the summer is on 30 May 2024. Following that, there will be a summer break for drop-in. Drop-in will resume on 3 September 2024.
Drop-in: Consult an International Officer
Meet with our International Officers to discuss your inquiries regarding your studies. You have the option to connect through Zoom or have an in-person meeting. Drop-in sessions are not available on public holidays and during breaks such as Christmas, Easter, and summer vacation.
